There's a lot of ways to lift correctly. And there's a lot of ways to lift wrong. Too often I see people in the gym throwing weight around, without any control, intent, or purpose. They're "weightlifting" not "bodybuilding." Don't just go into the gym to move weight. MOVE WEIGHT WITH A PURPOSE. You can't just swing the weights around with no control, and you can't speed through a set and think it's going to be effective. Training the body requires FOCUS. Focus on the task at hand, and SLOW DOWN YOUR REPS. If you watch me lifting in the gym, you'll notice that...

I challenge you to take action & do something you probably haven't done in a while. Go through your kitchen and throw out all the junk. And I'm talking EVERYTHING. (Better yet, donate it to a food shelter for the holidays or something.) You know what's healthy & what's not. If you have a bunch of crap in your house, it's got to go. Go through your cabinets & pantry, and deep-clean your fridge & freezer. When's the last time you truly did this? I bet there's some super old condiments in there at the very least. Get rid of...

And in the winter time, this gets even shorter and you're most likely bundled up from head to toe, barely letting any sunlight touch your skin. We are meant to be exposed to the sun. Many of our body processes are regulated by the sun, and that's why you feel so...

Have you ever used a slantboard? I first learned about this device from Knees Over Toes Guy, and it's been a cool little addition to my training equipment. This is the one I own.  I even bought one for my grandmother this summer because she's been unable to bend her knee more than a few degrees after having a knee replacement surgery. She's been using it regularly and can feel the difference it's making in the tightness behind her knee. You can use a slantboard for a lot of things, but I primarily use it for stretching my ankles, calves, hamstrings, and...
